Gelure.
An atelier in Anchorage, Alaska. Eight years in practice.
Maren Voss
Maren has been working with metal and stone for over sixteen years. She trained in Oslo under a third-generation goldsmith before moving to Alaska, where she has run Gelure for the past eight years.
Her work begins with listening. Every commission is a study in the person wearing it — their hands, their habits, what they reach for in the morning. The result is never generic.
She holds a Graduate Gemologist designation from the GIA and is a member of the American Gem Society. Her work has been exhibited at the Alaska Design Forum and collected by clients across North America.
Patience over speed
We build nothing on a deadline that was not agreed upon by both of us. Good work is not rushed.
Material honesty
We tell you what your stone is and is not. We tell you when a cheaper option will look identical. We do not upsell.
One maker
Your piece passes through one pair of hands, start to finish. You will know whose.
